What we collect, why, and what we do with it — handled under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
Autosettle AI Solutions (Reg. 202603020284) builds and manages websites for small and medium businesses in Malaysia. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what we do with it. We handle personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
It covers two different things: the data of our clients (the businesses we work with), and the data of visitors to the sites we hoston our clients’ behalf.
When you engage us, we collect what we need to do the work and bill you:
We use client data only to run the service:
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for marketing to third parties. We may contact you about your own service, and — unless you ask us in writing not to — we may name you as a client and show your site in our portfolio.
Where a site we host collects data from its visitors — for example through an enquiry form — our client is responsible for that dataas its owner, and we simply process it on their instructions as part of running their site. If you are a visitor to one of these sites, please refer to that business’s own privacy notice for how they use your information.
We keep basic, aggregated traffic statistics (such as page views and visitor counts) to produce the monthly visitor report and to keep the site healthy. These are not used to identify individual visitors.
We share personal data only with the service providers we need to deliver your site, and only as far as necessary:
We may also disclose data where the law requires it. We never sell personal data.
We keep client data for as long as you are a client and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations.
After an agreement ends, we keep a full backup of your site for 30 days so you can still buy it out, then delete it. On request, we will return or delete personal data we hold, except where we are required to keep it by law.
We store data on infrastructure we control, with SSL encryption in transit, daily backups, security patching and access limited to those who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will tell you promptly if a breach affects your data.
Under the PDPA, you may ask us to:
To make a request, email us at hello@auto-settle.com. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within the time the PDPA allows.
Our own site and the sites we host may use a small number of cookies and privacy-respecting analytics to keep things working and to measure traffic for the monthly report. These are not used to build advertising profiles. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date below, and material changes will be communicated to current clients.
